MANs- Monthly Anticipated Novels...

Monthly

Anticipated Novels (MANs)

I was thinking earlier about how many great books are about to be released in the coming months.  There are several on my list to buy as soon as they are released, and this led me to a decision to feature one or two upcoming books on the blog on the first of each month.  If there are several books I've been eagerly awaiting due to release on any particular month I might do do a second post around the 15th of that month.  Feel free to leave some comments at the end of each feature (or even your own blog posts about the subject) suggesting some of the books you all are drooling to get your hands on :)

Now on to the first in the series, October's MAN:

Treason by S.M. Boyce
Release: Oct 27th, 2012

I have been anxiously waiting for this book to come out since I read the first in the series, Lichgates back in April.  You can check out my review for that book here.  After signing on with Immortal Ink Publisihng, Boyce recently re-released the first book using new cover art, which is even more awesome than the original (and I didn't think that was possible lol). You can check out that cover on the left sidebar.

Here's the blurb from Goodreads

Ourea has always been a deadly place. The lichgates tying the hidden world to Earth keep its creatures at bay—for now.

Kara Magari ignited a war when she stumbled into Ourea and found the Grimoire: a powerful artifact filled with secrets. To protect the one person she has left, she strikes a deal that goes against everything she believes in. But things don’t go as planned.

Braeden Drakonin can no longer run from who—and what—he is. He has to face the facts. He’s a prince. He’s a murderer. He’s a wanted man. And after a betrayal that leaves him heartbroken, he’s out for blood.

To survive, both Kara and Braeden must become the evil each has grown to hate.

Boyce recently posted small sample of Treason on her blog as part of the Look Challenge, and let me tell you, all that did was make me want to read it more.  I seriously can't wait until the end of the month and have already set aside a day or two to devour this book.  I promise I'll come back and leave a review on the blog!
